It's beautifully positioned, in a peaceful setting overlooking lovely views of Loch Shiel to the front, and the stunning hills of Moidart to the rear. It is a homely property, and ideal for families and medium size groups, but at great value with prices similar to smaller properties.
The focus of the house is a comfy and cosy living room with a wood burning stove, sky tv, and separate dinning area. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, Range Master cooker and is well equipped. The master bedroom has its own shower and toilet, and views out over the rear garden. To the front, bedrooms 2 and 3 have views over the loch, and bedroom 4 has views to the back. The main bathroom has a decent bath and walk in shower. The house is warm with double glazing and gas central heating.
Going outside there is a spacious parking area, and garden, with mature trees and shrubs ideal for children play games and make dens, and suitable for also dogs to run in. In the front garden you'll find a patio with seating, and to the rear of the property a raised and covered patio, which can be accessed through the french doors in the dinning area. To help you enjoy these areas there is a mobile barbecue provided and garden furniture. Additionally, the property has separate games room in the grounds (including xbox 360, wii, darts board and board games) to entertain the biggest kids!
We are confident you will find Lochside a stunning location, whether for chilling out and watching the local wildlife, or visiting local attractions nearby, such as Tioram castle, white 'singing' sand beaches, kayaking, sightseeing (say to Glenfinnan viaduct, the famous steam train crossing and boat trips on Loch Shiel; the ever popular Isles of Skye, Mull and Treshnish; Ardnamurchan, and the most westerly point lighthouse; Trips to the inner Hebrides, of Muck, Eigg, Rhum and Canna) to name but a few! Additionally, outdoor activities such as hill walking, cycling or mountain biking, playing golf, horse riding, boating, fishing and deer stalking, are all easily accessible in the area. The area has spectacular mountain scenery, and with a beautiful coast line. It's worth visiting to explore it's wild, beautiful, unspoilt landscapes.
